Despite what one may think, pediatric odontology isn't well covered by medical insurance or mutuals, while adults are much better cared for. Therefore, in the interest of our patients, we have chosen to never constrain ourselves, in any fashion, and to never sacrifice the quality of our services because of the strictness of social security policies and internal regulations of mutuals. Costs for treatment account for the significant time spent in preparation, as well as accompanying and treating your child, and are not directly related to the treatment itself.
With new advances and technology regularly being made available, we are able to provide children with the best and most appropriate care. However, these new techniques that help us treat your children better won't be eligible for reimbursement for several years. Should children be deprived access to the latest proven scientific and medical advances for no other reason that these treatments won’t be reimbursed ? In addition, quality treatment lasts for many years, which makes it a worthwhile investment even though an initial cost may seem important- this is vastly outweighed by longterm benefits.
Healthy, protected, and well cared for teeth will stay healthy and benefit your child for their entire life.
Dr. Adriana Agachi's office does not operate under contract with l’assurance maladie: Dr. Agachi determines the costs of treatments. Reimbursement is therefore based on tarifs d’autorité, which is much less than conventional dentistry. If you are insured through social security, a small portion of your fees will be covered by your plan. The rest of the charge can be reimbursed by your mutual or private insurance, partially or totally, according to the terms of your contract.
The care sheet you’ll be provided will therefore only include the portion of the treatments for which you’ll be reimbursed, and you’ll receive a separate invoice containing the remaining, non-reimbursed portion of the treatment. We place ourselves at your disposition to furnish any invoices necessary to help you recuperate, when possible, from your insurances and/or mutual to recuperate, a portion of the fees you have paid to us.
A failure to receive reimbursement from l'assurance maladie, mutals, supplementary insurances, etc. will in no way be the responsibility of Dr. Agachi.
Please don’t hesitate to ask further questions if you need additional information concerning your child’s treatment: we are happy to inform you and discuss the various types of treatment that are available.
